Why do geniuses die poor?

In our modern society the value of our work i.e. the activities we perform to make money is being estimated differently. The problem is that it is not the effort or real value of the work which gets rewarded. If you look around, you will find many examples. The question is why do geniuses die poor?  Don’t they contribute enough to society? How is the contribution in the society is being valued?

Above are some questions which often come to my mind and I search for answers for them. I cannot claim that I have found definitive answers to my questions but there has been some progress to analysis them.

Ok, before we continue, let’s make some comparison on different work and reward for these works by society. You may ask what I mean by “reward for these works by society”. If you think about it, it is the society who define a value. A professional football player, especially the one who is famous gets paid very well. It is obvious, right? It goes the same for actors/actress, photo model or a celebrity. I wouldn’t be exaggerating if I tell you that a photo model gets more money than a brain surgent or microbiologist.

It this society who put a value on these occupations. A researcher who is trying to find a cure for deadly diseases gets paid well but not as close to a famous actor.

Have you ever thought about, why is it so? In old times, the Roman when they wanted to distract the population from real social issue, was using a trick which can be summarized in “bread and games”. This was distracting the mass to think about real issues. At that time long tournaments of gladiators together with supplementary bred to the audience was all they needed to distract people.

Did the people know that they are being diverted from real issues by these games? Of course not. They were to busy watching poor people killing each other in the arena.

I am not a sports fanatic, but sometimes I spend a little time to watch a different sport. Non-professional and international competition. On the other hand, if for some reason, no one plays football or any sport professionally anymore, I wouldn’t be sad. This has no impact on my life whatsoever. I would dare to say, this wouldn’t have any impact on any football fan at all.

You may think I am anti-sport. In that case, you would be wrong. Let me explain. If no one bake bread, there would be no bread to buy. If no one plays professional sport what would happen?

I hate the word cabal, but this has been planning for a long time to distract people from real issues. The games, the movies, celebrities and so on. They all have the same effect as gladiators in Roman times. This is all to distract our society and not pay attention to what cabal is doing all around the world.

Please note that I am not against entertainment in general. The way society has turned out today is what’s bothers me.

Let’s go back and discuss. Tesla was a great inventor. By now everyone knows about him because of Tesla cars. Do a bit research, he dies poor in a hotel rum. During his life, people stole his inventions and took advantage of him.

Mozart, a musical genius, he gave joy and peace with his music even today. All around the world have benefited from his work. HE died poor.

Vincent van Gogh- a genius who was not appreciated on his time. His pictures are masterworks. He died poor.

Here are a few quotes from Nikola Tesla:

“Let the future tell the truth and evaluate each one according to his work and accomplishments. The present is theirs; the future, for which I have really worked, is mine.”
“Every living being is an engine geared to the wheelwork of the universe”.
